A doctor whose loyalty is to his patients.

Dr. Niziol was born and raised in Buffalo, New York, and has been working in family health care from his office in Dryden for over three decades. He attended the State University of New York at Potsdam as a Chemistry major, and attended medical school at Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse. He completed a family practice internship and residency at St. Joseph's Hospital in Syracuse, and is United States Board Certified in Family Practice.

Dr. Niziol opened the practice in 1987 after falling in love with Dryden's small-town feel. Many of his patients have been coming to him for three decades and now bring their children and grandchildren in as patients as well. As the only doctor in the community not financially obligated to refer patients to a local hospital, he is able to tailor his care and advice to suit each patient's individual needs.

Dr. Niziol is the area's only Federal Civil Surgeon and travel medicine clinic — his clinic is the area's only Certified Yellow Fever Vaccine site. When he isn't with patients, he stays busy with kayaking, canoeing, skiing, hiking, snow kiting, biking, and running with his dogs. He takes pride in remaining abreast of the latest medical technologies and developments, caring for your entire family in a friendly, understanding, and helpful manner.
